Live Personalization for an HR Corporate Conference

Over the summer, I was hired to do live hot foiling on refillable journals at the yearly Irresistible HR Conference which is a global HR Leadership event. This year they decided to hire a group of calligraphers to personalize notebooks. This is a quick behind the scenes of what we did!

Hot Foiling Personalization

Once the attendees were checked in, they picked up their swag bags and headed over to our live personalization station. Attendees were able to choose what name or word they wanted foiled on their notebook and the color of it.

While I am foiling the items, I create conversations and enjoy laughing with the attendees of any of the events I work at. For this particular event, the attendees came from all over the world. It was really cool to know that my calligraphy was going to travel to places like Europe and China!

As the live personalization is taking place, guests were able to watch the process happen right in front of their eyes. Some decided to go grab a quick bite before coming back to pick up their items, but every single person said they loved the activation.

One day I hope to be able to travel to one of those places and provide my custom calligraphy services on site! But for now, these notebooks were clean and professional and were the perfect start to a workshop filled day.
